    A magnificent power station of the 1920s reborn as Queensland’s home of contemporary art and culture located along the Brisbane River.
    With over 1,250 performances and events each year, Brisbane Powerhouse offers a program of festivals, visual arts, music, theatre, comedy, including the Brisbane Comedy Festival, Banff Winter Film Festival and Night Feast.
    Located in New Farm, only 5 minutes from the Brisbane CBD.

    Parking

    There are 148 car park spaces that operates 24/7. Parking is paid at $11 per day. There are several stree parking options within the vicinity of the Powerhouse . New Farm Park offers more than 200 free car parking spaces. New Farm Park gates open Mon–Fri 8.30am–11pm.

    Public Transport

    The 195 and 196 bus services stop at the end of Brunswick Street (near Oxlade Drive), on the East side of New Farm Park. The 199 bus stops at Merthyr Road and Hawthorne Street. Both stops are approximately 200 metres from Brisbane Powerhouse.

    The New Farm Ferry Terminal is located approximately 200 metres from Brisbane Powerhouse, with city cat services every 30 minutes until midnight.

    Bring your bike

    Brisbane Powerhouse is conveniently located on the Newstead-New Farm Bikeway, which connects to the city centre via the New Farm Riverwalk. There are secure bike racks outside of the Stores and Turbine buildings so you can ride to the door.
